What is it?
The Service Leadership and Kiwanis Programs Conference is a gathering of the Kiwanis district volunteers who work most closely with the Service Leadership Programs and YCPO initiatives. The objective of the conference is to prepare district administrators and chairmen for their positions, share best practices between districts and develop ways to collectively advance Kiwanis Programs.

The SLP Conference is an invitation-only event, with limited space for other interested attendees. Those who will be invited to this year’s conference include:
2012–13 Kiwanis Kids district administrators/youth services chairmen
2012–13 Builders Club district administrators
2012–13 Key Club district administrators
2012–13 CKI district administrators
2012–13 Aktion Club district administrators
2011–12 Young Children: Priority One North American district chairmen
2011–12 North American Kiwanis district governors-elect
What’s included:
Invited attendees (only one per position, per district), will receive a program package that includes all meals, double occupancy lodging, access to meetings and sessions and program materials during the scheduled activities. Return transportation to the airport on Sunday, January 22, also will be provided.
What’s not included:
Airfare and airport shuttle transportation to the conference site is not included in the program package. Individuals who choose to arrive early or depart later than January 22, will be responsible for additional overnight room charges.

Transportation
Transportation to the hotel is not included as part of the program package. Participants will be responsible for their own travel to the hotel.
Transportation back to the airport is provided on Sunday morning by means of shuttle busses leaving each hour. This cost is part of the program package.
