JEROME E. “JERRY’ PEULER JR.
KIWANIS CLUB OF WALDORF, MARYLAND
KIWANIS INTERNATIONAL TRUSTEE


Jerome E. “Jerry” Peuler Jr., of La Plata, Maryland, was elected to a three-year term as a trustee of Kiwanis International in June 2009, at the 94th international convention in Nashville, Tennessee.

Jerry, a former member of the Kiwanis Club of Columbus, Mississippi, is a 22-year member and past-distinguished president of the Kiwanis Club of Waldorf, Maryland. He is a past-distinguished lieutenant governor and past governor of the Capital District, where he served as chairman of numerous committees.

For Kiwanis International, Jerry has served on the resolutions and bylaws committee and as an advisory committee member to former International President Dave Curry. He is a life member of Kiwanis International and a Diamond-level George F. Hixson Fellow.

Jerry is the elected treasurer in Charles County, Maryland, and a U.S. Air Force officer retired.  

Along with his Kiwanis service, Jerry has worked with the United Way of Charles County, the Service Corps of Retired Executives, the Military Officers Association of America, Habitat for Humanity, the U.S. Air Force Association, Foreign Wars-Disabled American Veterans and the Boy Scouts of America, National Eagle Scout Association.
 
Jerry has an adult daughter.  His wife, Judith, is a Kiwanian.
