PAM FLEMING

KIWANIS INTERNATIONAL TRUSTEE
Pam Fleming, of Sheffield, Alabama, was elected to a three-year term as a Kiwanis International Trustee in June 2009, at the 94th international convention in Nashville, Tennessee.
Pam is a member and past-distinguished president of the Kiwanis Club of Sheffield, Alabama, where she served on committees for Key Club, community service, Pancake Day, Peanut Day, Salvation Army bell ringing and boundless playground. She is a past-distinguished lieutenant governor of the Alabama District and a former Kiwanian of the Year.
She served as Boundless Playground Division II project chair, Alabama District Playground Chair, was awarded a Kiwanis International George F. Hixson Fellow by Sheffield Kiwanis, the Alabama District Barnett by Division II, and a Kiwanis International Tablet of Honor by the Birmingham Kiwanis Club.
Pam is a department director at Helen Keller Hospital in Sheffield, and has served on the United Way board of trustees and is a past president of the Big Brother Big Sisters board of directors. She is a member of the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association board and chair of the Sheffield Public Housing Board.
Pam also serves on the Sheffield Planning Board, Sheffield Nuisance Committee, as Helen Keller Foundation auction chair, and works with Community Action Meals on Wheels, Shoals Earth Day Committee, Alabama Cystic Fibrosis, Shoals Cerebral Palsy Center and Habitat for Humanity. She was named Sheffield Citizen of the year in 2003 and in 2008 was awarded the Pilot Club of the Shoals Compassion Award.
Pam and her husband, David, are parents of two daughters, and have three grandchildren.
