Every child should experience the joy of reading. Kiwanis members believe this, and have long been dedicated to Kiwanis’ Read Around the World program. But reading projects deserve more than a monthlong observance. That’s why Kiwanis International now urges the entire Kiwanis family to implement Read Around the World projects throughout the entire year.
More reading projects touch more kids’ lives. What can you do? Read to children. Then give them books they can cherish again and again.

Attention: New this year, clubs that participate in Read Around the World should report the events on the online monthly report form. This helps Kiwanis track and measure service projects, participation, and help improve our programs. However, if you are requesting a banner patch, please note that you should complete the online banner patch form. Patches will be sent only once per year, on or around October 1. For clubs that also participate and request banner patches for Kiwanis One Day and Young Children Priority One projects, patches will be sent at that time too.
